So it's been since June since I last posted up commissions, but I was dedicated to waiting until they were all finished before I posted them up. It was well worth the wait, I think!
The first one I got was done up by

. The lines are super-clean and the style is great. I personally appreciate the pins on the hat, and the shading on the headphones. This one was simple and understated, but a really great addition to the collection! You can see it on my Photobucket here:

Second was from

. The turnover on this one was incredibly quick, and the result was fabulous. A full color version of Sia in Prisma, which is another notch in the medium belt. I thought that the design choices he made with Sia were absolutely spot on, from the sweet green detail on the vest to the double-buckle belt, which might be my all time favorite design improvisation. I loved this one a lot, and you can check it out yourself here:

Third up was a super-quick sketchy from

. I feel like the style of this, with the scratchy lines, makes it look really unique. I also love the expression, which gives this sort of "I'm going to wreck something or someone tonight" vibe to Sia. The crowbar drives that point home. Also noted and appreciated: the inclusion of the dogtags that Turin added for his version of Sia. All and all a good use of what I think was 5 dollars. Better than some crappy sandwich. Check it here:

Finally, after an illness that I'm glad he made it through with 110% of his talent intact,

finished up the Full-color waistup commission, and let me tell you... it's a thing of beauty! The colors on this were well worth the extra money, and the lineart is done with a new program (Autodesk Sketchbook Pro 2010; he loves it and I love what he's done with it!) This is easily one of my favorites, and I'm glad I went back to him for a second go. If the opportunity arises, there WILL be go number three. You can see this one right here:

And another from the Holy Crap! files: it seems that the most gigantic contributor of Sia art ever has finally made himself known here on DA:

commented on the new Robaato piece and I'm glad he did. Now I can show all his old work and give him credit here in the journal! Check out Past Sias below and click the links to see the original run that made this current commission obsession possible!
Time to reload and get a new batch of commissions going! I'm not sure who I'm going to pick yet, but I've got a few in mind! I will post my choices up when they're made, for anyone who cares! Until then, don't forget: don't let our artists starve! Commissions make DA go 'round, and you get some pretty cool stuff out of it, too!
